When I was 11, I started a blog.
That blog was everything to me for several years, but I found that as I was growing up, my blog was falling behind. Eventually, I stopped posting on it altogether, choosing to pursue other interests. I've been going through a lot of changes in my life recently and I realized that I actually missed blogging! But instead of going back to the old blog, which felt like a step backward, I decided to venture out into unknown territory.
This new blog bears the same name as the old one, because it's become my brand (I really ought to have it copyrighted, eh?). Other than that, it's going to be fairly different from my old one. I still collect dolls, but I'm no longer interested in having a blog devoted to them--instead, I plan on writing about my life, my novels, and anything else that catches my eye.
I would like to welcome everyone to the new era of Quinny & Co.!

ReplyDeleteMaybe I should sort of re-introduce myself? I went by "Hannie" back in the days, and I think I met you through the American Girl Fan message board :) My blog was called "Irish Girl" back then. Even though my doll days are over, I've kept blogging about my life and interests (books and food mostly, not gonna lie). Also I use many GIFs. :)
Again, so glad you're back! I'm excited to see what you get up to on here.

ReplyDeleteI'm sort of on the same time frame as you. :D I started blogging when I was 11 or 12 a while back and maintained two pretty-darn-good-for-my-age blogs for about a year. I forget why, but my parents had me delete them and be done with blogging. Now I am almost 17 and started up a new blog yesterday. I'm exited. I didn't go back to my old blogs because I've changed so much and I'm practically a different person now. :)
